I found that the proximity to the beach was a bonus. The swimming pool was big enough and the staff were helpful. The tram is also close by and takes 20 minutes to central Alicante.

We enjoyed the pool area but the best part was that the beach was only one block away! Breakfast was ok. Cabel car took 30 min down town from the hotell and the stations was close to Castilla, just a few minutes walk. There are also busses.
No busses and cabel cars runs during the night. Our plane came in late and its situated north of Alicante. Taxi went fast, 38 Euro from the airport. Also, the busses and cable cars don't run after 23,30.

Location close enough to a fantastic pizza restaurant-El Diavello wonderful food as well as a big and beautiful beach, claen rooms, friendly English-speaking staff. Outstanding food in the restaurants such as Diavoletto, located 5 min away. Newly remodelled and large units with great bathroom.
